We celebrate our culture's history of environmental stewardship, and seek to reinvent it for sustainability today.
We understand the work of ALL THE PEOPLE will be required to reverse global warming and that connections with our "green cousins of all persuasions" is fundamental.
BIG was born to mobilize the power of the African American community to contribute important solutions.
Community education and connecting to green collar jobs-careers-enterprise are key strategies...along with green-village-building, a thrust to foster green, self-sustaining, mixed-income micro-villages in our presently colonized African-American communities.
