One more reminder since I did not send out an initial email on the event. Hey we had a great Step It Up event! Lets celebrate and talk about meetings with legislators to follow up on Step It Up. Lets also talk about our relationship with Sierra Club, Climate Justice Chicago and other groups.

    • “ A lot of great ideas and discussion. Everyone participated well and seemed to be having a good time doing it. We do have to make decisions though. Looking forward to the next meeting. ”

People recognized the need for continued outreach and talking points on key issues, but also want to work on projects or actions that will make a difference, due to the immediacy of global warming. I was inspired to learn what others are doing and by the networking that took place. ”
